Challenge

Furniture manufacturing falls into a hazard class with a high combustible load; in addition, the facility sits in an organized industrial zone where outdoor vehicle movement is heavy, so hydrant access points required careful planning.

Solution

The interior wet sprinkler line was sized with high-hazard-class parameters. The perimeter fire hydrant network was positioned to preserve vehicle movement axes, and each hydrant was delivered with a standard field cabinet. Fire hose cabinets were planned at even intervals along the production lines, with coverage calculated for a 30 m hose per cabinet.

Outcome

The entire system was put into service with fire department approval. For insurance purposes, the protection class was documented above the standard, and the system's continuity is secured under a contracted maintenance agreement.
