Our fire protection approach on the Brango Çelik Kapı project

In steel door manufacturing, welding, cutting, and painting are carried out together; sparks from cutting and welding lines can cause an unexpected fire when they meet nearby paint and solvents. At metalworking facilities, fire risk often comes not from the production line itself but from the combustible materials that accompany it. Welding and paint sections must therefore be protected separately but to the same level of safety.

At the Brango Çelik Kapı production facility, an integrated fire safety network was installed from the manufacturing areas to the outdoor site. Sprinkler and fire hose cabinet systems protect the building interior, while the hydrant line provides response from outside. The infrastructure, supported by a fire pump set and water tank, is completed with smoke venting, alarm, and emergency signage solutions.

Periodic checks of detection sensors in the welding and paint sections ensure a fire is noticed at an early stage. In projects with fire department approval like this one, the detection and alarm infrastructure should be tested regularly under a maintenance contract.
