Our fire protection approach on the Cennet Yatakları project
In mattress production, sewing, padding, and packaging lines run in sequence; each of these lines contains different combustible materials, and a fire in one section can spread quickly to the next. In this chain from production to shipping, areas where packaged products accumulate carry a particularly high fire load. Protecting production lines and storage areas simultaneously and with equal rigor is a requirement specific to mattress manufacturing.
At the Cennet Yatakları production facility, solutions focused on early fire response were installed to protect production lines and storage areas. The sprinkler system provides automatic protection, while fire hose cabinets and the hydrant network allow response from multiple points. The pump and water reserve infrastructure is supported by controlled smoke removal, early warning, and evacuation provisions.
Updating sprinkler coverage on the sewing and padding lines to follow changes in the production layout is part of the periodic maintenance contract. Regular testing of the sprinkler system safeguards the continuity of fire department approval.
