Our fire protection approach on the Dr Dizayn project
In furniture manufacturing, paint and varnish booths are among the most sensitive sections of the facility because of the evaporation of the solvents used. If ventilation inside the booth is inadequate, accumulated vapor can turn into a rapid and violent flash fire when it meets a spark. Semi-finished and raw material stock near these sections can magnify the effect of this risk.
At the Dr. Dizayn Mobilya factory, systems for fire detection, control, and safe evacuation of employees were addressed together. Sprinklers and fire hose cabinets provide active protection for production areas, and the hydrant installation serves outdoor response. The fire water infrastructure, smoke vents, and electronic alarm systems were integrated with emergency exit provisions.
Periodic testing of the smoke vents around the paint booth keeps escape routes visible during a fire. In this project, approved by the fire department, regular inspection of the evacuation systems under the maintenance contract is recommended.
