Our fire protection approach on the Infinity project
In furniture manufacturing, particleboard, MDF and laminate sheets stacked in the raw material warehouse carry a high fire load per volume. A fire that starts in such a warehouse can grow quickly because of airflow between the stacks and spread to neighboring production areas. It is critical that warehouse layout and material placement do not limit the chance of early response.
At the Infinity Mobilya factory, automatic sprinkler protection covers the raw material and production areas, while fire hose cabinets and hydrant points offer different response options. Fire water demand is met by the tank and fire pump set, and smoke vents together with early alarm and emergency exit signage complete the protection scope.
The system was installed on a plan that avoided interrupting production and commissioned with fire department approval. It is inspected regularly under a periodic maintenance contract aligned with BYKHY (Turkish Fire Protection Regulation). The fire hydrant line, which secures the warehouse area from the outside, is a priority check item in the maintenance program.
