Our fire protection approach on the Stell Home project
In furniture manufacturing, the booths where surface coating and painting take place are special risk areas where fire can grow quickly because of the chemical materials used. Drying and ventilation processes around the booths raise temperature and vapor density, feeding the risk. In these zones, suppression and early detection systems must work together without interruption.
At the Stell Home Mobilya factory, the sprinkler installation and fire hose cabinets provide response capability inside the building while the hydrant line supports outdoor safety. The water supply infrastructure is completed with smoke vents, early warning and safe exit measures, addressing the special risk around the coating booth within a comprehensive structure.
The system was commissioned with fire department approval on an installation plan that avoided interrupting the production process. The periodic maintenance contract, aligned with BYKHY (Turkish Fire Protection Regulation), includes regular checks of the equipment around the booth. The evacuation systems that quickly clear dense smoke from the booth area are a priority in these inspections.
