Our fire protection approach on the Emre Mobilya project

Because furniture production lines consist of adjacent sections, a fire starting at one point can spread quickly to neighboring sections. At facilities where cutting, assembly, and surface finishing sections sit in sequence, each section needs its own automatic protection to limit the rate of fire spread. This approach aims to prevent an incident in one section from affecting the entire production line.

At the Emre Mobilya factory, active protection solutions were installed across the facility to limit fire spread and shorten response time. The sprinkler system, fire hose cabinets, and perimeter hydrants are arranged to support one another. Along with the pump and water storage infrastructure, smoke control, fire alarm, and emergency exit systems were commissioned.

The continuity of sprinkler coverage between production lines is inspected regularly under the periodic maintenance contract. Testing the sprinkler system is necessary for the continuity of fire department approval.
