Our fire protection approach on the Gaga Mobilya project

In furniture workshops, the compartmentalized layout of production areas makes it especially important that response points are easily reachable everywhere. Chips and cutting residue accumulating in narrow work areas pose a small but effective risk that can ignite quickly from a spark. At such facilities, it is possible to provide effective response capacity without building a complex infrastructure.

At the Gaga Mobilya production facility, an indoor fire water infrastructure was installed for fast, effective fire response. Accessible response points across the facility are provided by fire hose cabinets, while the system's water reserve and operating pressure are supplied by the fire water tank and pump set.

Keeping the area in front of fire hose cabinets clear and checking the equipment periodically allows the system, approved by the fire department, to be used quickly in a real incident. Regular inspection of the fire hose cabinet system under the maintenance contract is recommended.
